General information

I have worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in the field of musculoskeletal physio within the NHS and private sector for the last 14 years. My main areas of expertise have been in orthopaedic muscle and joint pain, trauma & sports injuries, chronic pain, post-surgery rehabilitation, spinal and pelvic disorders, health and fitness promotion and Women's health. In most recent years, I have developed a real heart for treating and supporting Women through pre and post natal disorders/conditions/pain, incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction. These problems can be directly related to pregnancy and childbirth, surgery, the menopause, medication, or trauma.....as well as problems that exist since birth or childhood. I have felt encouraged to launch my business in the Derbyshire area, as there is currently not many services available for these women. I am excited to be launching 'Embrace Physio' at The Bridge Centre for Natural Health' in Mickleover Derby, where I have the pleasure of working alongside other practitioners, to offer our patients/clients holistic approaches to their health and wellbeing.
