Youth CREATE

General information

Youth CREATE was established in 1987 and still, continues in its spirit to offer personal and social development opportunities to children and young people through the medium of creative and performing arts.

Our workshops are led by an experienced team of Enhanced CRB Protected, professional staff supported by volunteers, ensuring that there is always a safe and stimulating environment for members.
We offer an 'open door' policy welcoming all children and young people including those with a mental, physical, social disability, those with a long term illness or have siblings that are poorly, are young carers or from a large/low-income family.
This range of ability and variety of our workshops is what sets us apart from your average Theatre School and makes us unique!

We set their imaginations free to help them discover who they are.
Besides developing skills of creative and performing arts, we focus on giving praise and encouragement as well as opportunities to discover and experience success and in turn build-up their confidence and self-esteem to grow up to become independent, self-sufficient adults as opposed to children who grow up believing the world owes them everything they want!

Our most recent achievements are coming 2nd place at 'Sawbridgeworth’s Got Talent!' and proceeding to the Final of 'Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge' at the IndigO2 on 24th November!

Our all inclusive weekly workshops and holiday courses include; film, singing, voice, music, dance, stage combat, drama, puppetry, speech, script writing, art, set design, choreography, song writing, poetry, sign language, performing, backstage skills, media, promotion, directing and producing.
