Nortier Shallow

General information

We met at Basingstoke College of Technology whilst studying for a diploma in Fashion design and construction. In our time there, we designed and made several different garments, including a 6 outfit collection exploring the idea of Male bridal wear.

Soon after graduating, we started working with Brides of Odiahm, later Boo, under our original label, Bahbua. With the support of the founder and then director, Barbara Ryder, we learnt the ropes and made small bespoke additions to the wedding dresses.

In Spring 2014, Barbara retired and we took over all the alterations for Boo, which was now being run by Anna Johnson. A few months later, we signed the lease on a new shop in Hartley Wintney and opened in August 2014 as a joint venture.

We have loved our time working with Boo and have expanded our bridesmaids' collections as well as our bespoke services. In August 2017 our first solo shop will launch in Basingstoke.
