What we do

At South Coast HR we work with business owners who understand their success is dependent on their people, and believe in a simple, grown-up, no jargon approach to HR.

With a business-focused approach that places people at the heart of your business, we work with you throughout your business operations, helping to:

•Recruit the right people for those roles
•Create a great place to work that keeps talent in your business and attracts the best people to you
•Create a strong framework of employment policies and processes that seek to protect rather than restrict
•Manage the nitty gritty – performance management, absence, maternity, disciplinary issues etc

We like to work with you as part of your team, there to support you at every level, from big picture strategy to day-to-day issues – whether your business is large, small, or somewhere in the middle.

At South Coast HR we like to do things differently. Having worked in and with small to medium-sized growing businesses, as well as in the corporate world, we understand that every business is different and needs a different approach.

We like to work with you, as part of your business – not hidden away at the end of the phone or behind an email (unless that’s what you want). Your HR consultant will get to know you and your business, understand your challenges and goals, and will recommend pragmatic, business focused solutions, tailored to your business that will help you get where you need to be. We don’t do off-the-shelf solutions and certainly don’t subscribe to ‘tick box’ HR.

You may only need professional HR advice every now and then, or you may want an expert at your premises working closely with you and your team on a regular basis. You might need support managing a tricky situation or perhaps you need us to help you build a top class team. And we can help you not to forget the ‘legal stuff’ that every business has to cover – or even do it for you.

Whether we’re taking care of your day-to-day HR operations or working with you to guide you through those strategic HR boardroom decisions, we see ourselves as your expert HR business partner.
