Beckside Construction Ltd is a small family company whose principle focus is constructing small scale Hydro Electric Schemes in Cumbria and North Yorkshire. Beckside Construction's hydro story began in 2011 when Robert Morris-Eyton, Managing Director of Beckside Construction, decided to harness the potential power available in the beck that runs through his farm by building the Beckside Hydro Scheme. Following its successful completion in 2012, Beckside Construction were commissioned in 2013 to construct the Tongue Gill Hydro Scheme in Grasmere.
Since then we have gone from strength to strength with further schemes being constructed. Mossdale Hydro in North Yorkshire and one closer to home at Stickle Ghyll in Great Langdale for the National Trust. Also not forgetting installing the Penstock for the Cragdale Scheme in North Yorkshire. In 2015 we have completed the Bolton Hall Hydro Scheme in North Yorkshire and are working on the Hayeswater Hydro Scheme near Patterdale.
