The Muralist is a personal mural design and community arts service which specialises in hand painted wall murals and canvas art. With one professional Muralist who is also qualified as an Interior Designer, Alison Rushton can help bring your child’s bedroom and imagination to life.

Murals can help assist children to learn through their visual perceptions of colours and characters. Beautiful hand painted murals can be painted directly onto the walls of your child's bedroom or on to a large or small canvas. Complete room transformations are also available.

The murals are painted with non toxic paint, finished with a matt varnish and are individually priced depending on the size and complexity of the art work. The company is Nottingham based; services are available throughout the Midlands.

Residential and commercial work undertaken. Available for Community Arts projects/workshops, schools, hospitals, nurseries, community projects.

Supporting Learning and Assessment in Practice- Post registration degree module (Nottingham University) - 2009.

Supporting Artists in the Creative Industries- 2009.

Arts in Health – an introduction. Newark and Sherwood District- 2008
OCN Diploma Level 3 in Professional Interior Design, Perspective Drawing and Decorative Paint Finishes- 2004.

Btec National Diploma in Social Care- 1994.

Qualified Theatre Set Designer since- 1991.

Public and Products Liability Insurance.
