Der Tiroler Skilehrerverband – Snowsport Tirol ist eine Körperschaft öffentlichen Rechts. Er ist die gesetzliche berufliche Interessensvertretung der
- SkischulinhaberInnen und
- an den Tiroler Skischulen tätigen Lehrkräfte und Kinderbetreuungspersonen
Neben den umfangreichen Aufgaben als Interessensvertretung zählt die Organisation und Durchführung der Skilehrerausbildung, Snowboardlehrerausbildung und Langlauflehrerausbildung in den einzelnen Ausbildungsstufen zu den Kernkompetenzen des Tiroler Skilehrerverbandes - Snowsport Tirol.
