Seit 1817 in Wien

1817 Gründung einer Musikalien-Leihanstalt, die bald darauf um ein
Antiquariat erweitert wird.

1857 Ludwig Doblinger kauft das Geschäft und verlegt mehrmals den Standort.

1873 Das Geschäft landet im Haus Dorotheergasse 10.

1876 Bernhard Herzmansky kauft die Musikalienhandlung. Er baut ein
Noten Sortiment auf und gründet einen Musikverlag. Den mittlerweile gut
eingeführten Firmennamen übernimmt er.

Das Musikhaus Doblinger ist somit seit fast 200 Jahren in der Musikstadt Wien.
"Der Doblinger" ist national und international in der Musikwelt bekannt. Das musikhistorisch
bedeutende Ladengeschäft im Zentrum Wiens überzeugt mit klassisch-modernem Ambiente.

About us

1817 A music hire organisation is established, which is later expanded to include a second-hand music store.

1857 The business is purchased by Ludwig Doblinger.

1873 After several changes of location, the business ends up in Dorotheergasse 10.

1876 The music shop is purchased by Bernhard Herzmansky, who builds up the sheet music selection and establishes a publishing house. He continues to use the by now well-known company name „Doblinger“.

Musikhaus Doblinger has existed in the city of Vienna for almost 200 years, and is a familiar name in the music world, both nationally and internationally. The traditional shop in the centre of Vienna holds one of the largest selections of sheet music in Europe in a classic-modern environment.
