70 Jahre Deutsche Messe: Als die Deutsche Messe 1947 in der Nachkriegszeit in Hannover gegründet wurde, konnte niemand den Erfolg der ersten Exportmesse im gleichen Jahr erahnen:

1.934 Exportverträge im Wert von 31,6 Millionen US-Dollar wurden an 21 Messetagen geschlossen.

Seitdem ist in 70 Jahren Unternehmensgeschichte sehr viel passiert:

70th Anniversary of Deutsche Messe – from legendary beginnings as Germany’s first Export Fair on up to a key role in showcasing the digital transformation. Back when Deutsche Messe was founded in Hannover in 1947, soon after the end of WWII, nobody could predict just how successful its maiden event would be, right from the start.

When the gates closed on the 21-day Export Fair, it had generated as many as 1,934 export contracts worth a total of $31.6 mill.

And in the ensuing 70 years, the company has continued to make history.
