General information

FLIC Circus School, partner member of FEDEC (the European Federation of Professional Circus Schools), was established in 2002 by the Reale Società Ginnastica di Torino, it is one of the most ancient gymnastic societies, born in 1844. The successful marriage between sports and educational tradition of the Royal Society of Turin and the circus artistic initiative makes this school a reference point in the circus artists preparation. FLIC Circus School, through its two year training course, creates professional artists whit good physical preparation, technique and art forms, and who possess a wealth of design skills, relationship and organizational measures to confront themselves to the international contemporary circus world.
FLIC Circus School is located in central Turin, in a historic building of 2500 square meters and spread over 5 floors.
Workshops - A key part of the training courses are the specialization stages periodically carried out with teachers and artists from international art scene; this stages are organized to help the students in own grown and to create a good working environment that compare the different cultures and the different circus experiences. Aot of stage are open (not only for FLIC Students)

Fondata nel 2002, FLIC Scuola di Circo è un punto di riferimento nell’ambito circense italiano ed europeo sotto il profilo didattico, culturale ed artistico. Si prefigge di formare ogni allievo in discipline specifiche circensi, ponendo particolare attenzione sulle materie alla base del circo contemporaneo.
FLIC è riconosciuta a livello europeo dalla FEDEC (Federazione Europea delle Scuole di Circo Professionali) ed è socio fondatore della FISAC (Federazione Italiana delle Scuole di Circo).
La formazione è a livello professionale e amatoriale, è affiancata da rassegne, eventi e performance, produzione interna di spettacoli di circo contemporaneo, gestione di laboratori temporanei per enti pubblici e privati, attività di volontariato e circo sociale.
Durante tutto l’anno organizza periodi di stage formativi, sulle varie discipline circensi, rivolti sia agli artisti che agli amatori, di durata variabile e di livelli differenti. Inoltre, chi fa già parte del mondo dello spettacolo trova nella scuola spazi per l’allenamento, sale per provare le proprie creazioni, corsi di perfezionamento e un costante supporto artistico.
