Smart Center II

General information

Smart Center is a private language center that has been functioning in Vlora for over ten years. Since its inception, Smart Center has worked hard to educate the youth of Vlora and the surrounding cities and villages by offering a wide variety of courses in English language, Italian language and computer literacy. Recently, Smart Center has been working directly with professional native English teachers and well-educated Italian speakers.

Courses taught have ranged from basic, introductions to the English and Italian languages to elective courses such as "the American education system," topics in American culture and Business and working English. During the last two years Smart Center has excelled especially in preparing students for national and international exams, such as State Matura, FCE, TOEFL and IELTS, Michigan English Tests etc.

Smart Center has been committed to offering interested students the opportunities to study foreign languages even so far as to allow students to study for free. Students in difficult financial or social situation have always been welcomed to pursue their passions despite their lack of income. Love and compassion have always motivated us to see our center more than just a business and Peace Corp volunteers have contributed to reach this objective.

From 2012 Smart Center is an authorised center by the University of Michigan to organize Michigan Tests in Vlora.
