„Xaloc" (Schalock), so heißt nicht nur der sanfte Südost-Wind auf Mallorca, der die heißen Sommermonate auf der Insel so angenehm macht.
Xaloc heißt auch die kleine, aber sehr feine Bodega in Mallorcas Nordosten, dort wo das Tramuntana-Gebirge langsam in eine beschauliche Hügellandschaft ausläuft. Das gesellschaftliches Zentrum, ist das für die Insel erfreulich authentische und malerische 15.000-Seelen-Städtchen Pollensa.
