General information

At Batec Mobility we radically improve the mobility of people with disabilities to match their lifestyle to that of people with no disabilities. We fulfil this mission by creating and selling innovative products designed by and for disabled people.

The history of the project is closely linked to the personal story of Pau Bach, the quadriplegic who founded Batec Mobility to bring the mobility solutions he designed to other people with physical disabilities.

Located in Barcelona, Batec Mobility is a perfect example of the city's industrial design tradition. It has received several awards since its foundation in 2006, both for its entrepreneurship and for its social project, and, at present, more than half of all members on the highly motivated Batec team are disabled.

En Batec Mobility mejoramos radicalmente la movilidad de las personas con discapacidad para equiparar su estilo de vida al de las personas sin discapacidad. Esta misión la llevamos a cabo creando y comercializando productos innovadores, concebidos por y para personas con discapacidad.

La historia del proyecto está íntimamente ligada en sus inicios a la historia personal de Pau Bach, tetrapléjico, que fundó Batec Mobility para hacer llegar al colectivo de discapacitados físicos las soluciones de movilidad que él mismo se fabricaba.

Ubicada e imbuida por la tradición de diseño industrial de la ciudad de Barcelona, Batec Mobility ha recibido varios premios desde su fundación en 2006 tanto por su labor empresarial como por su proyecto social. Actualmente cuenta con una plantilla motivada, formada en más de un 50% por personas con discapacidad.
