ZAPATOS CASTELLANO 1920 MADRID

General information

A principios de 1920 nace CASTELLANO en un pequeño taller de Madrid, donde se fabricaban todos los zapatos de forma artesanal, tomando medidas al pie y haciendo la horma de madera artesanalmente. Zapatos "de verdad" cuyo proceso de elaboración, desde el corte hasta el terminado, se realizaba a mano.

Hoy en día, Castellano es una compañía en la que se fabrican numerosos modelos, zapatos que gozan de la aceptación del cliente más exigente. Eso sí, todos hechos a mano en la horma, como en 1920, lo que convierte a Castellano en algo más que una forma de calzar: es una forma de vida que muchos han querido imitar.

At the begining of 1920 Castellano born in Madrid, where all the shoes are handmade taking measures to the foot and making it on the wooden mold. Really shoes in a small workshop where from the cut until the ended, were handmade.

The production, logically, was very small but, little by little, the great from Madrid fixed in those shoes that people of certain pleasure put on their feet. 'They were Castellanos!', they said with pride and it is that some shoes Castellano was something different that due to his alone scarce production some few ones could take.

But Castellano, nowadays is a company where a lot of models of shoes are manufactured and they enjoy of the acceptance of the client more exigent; but, all of them facts by hand in the mold, like in 1920, of course.

That makes than Castellano was than more a form of putting on shoes, is a form of life than many have wanted to imitate.
