HUGE HISTORY IN FASHION

The story begins in 1969 when the store SOTRIS opens at Fok. Negri str. A store with Londonish style, black with big mirrors and big shop window, with very eccentric clothes for the season. A store that reminded of the great BIBA of London.

The decade of 70’s starts and Fok. Negri becomes the most cosmic street of Athens where artists and intellectuals frequent there.

Then all women want to buy an outfit from SOTRIS collection.

At the beginning of the 80’s decade SOTRIS imports big names of Italian and French fashion such as Montana, Thierry Mugler and the great designer Jean-Paul Gaultier.

In 1986 SOTRIS opens a store in Kolonaki, 3 Leventi str., an avant-guard store with women and men ready-to-wear where all fashion fans and stylists exchange ideas and make it their point of meeting.

So the big promotion from all magazines begins with coverings and fashion reportage.

In 1990 the store in Kolonaki, 30 Anagnostopoulou str. opens with an impressive decoration of the time in baroque style. It receives hospitably the greatest names of fashion like Prada, John Galliano, Comme des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto and the rising twin Dolce&Gabbana. All the ladies were buying outfits from Prada, Alaia, Alexander McQueen.

In 2000, the concept store opens in Kolonaki 41, Voukourestiou & Tsakalof str., in three levels (groundfloor, basement and 1st floor) with ready-to-wear and many accessories.

Today, after 44 years SOTRIS operates in:

Brands: Paul Smith, Marni, DriesVanNoten, Giorgio Brato, Charlotte Olympia, Tom Rebl, Ann Demeulemeester, Mary Katrantzou, MSGM, Parosh, Aquilano Rimondi, Christopher Kane, Roksanda, Nicholas Kirkwood, Vintage 55, Zadig Voltaire, Bolongaro Trevor, Closed, Drome etc.

Golden Hall: 37A Kifissias Avenue. In 2009, the history goes on, always on the first line of fashion with a new point of sales at “Golden Hall”, flat 230 sqm that presents the firms Alaia, Paul Smith, John Galliano, Prada linea rossa, Italia Independent, Vintage 55, Zadig Voltaire, Premiata, Marni, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Comme des Garcons, Christopher Kane, Mary Katrantzou.

Furthermore, Sotris is happy to present exclusively for the greek market the british "Topshop" megastore brand.

For the first presentation of Topshop brand in Greece, which has been adored by the fashion lovers all over the world, Sotris hosted a fashion event at its Golden Hall store. In the event participated the greek fashion crowd and famous artists who danced with the music choice of AMATEURBOYZ and enjoyed the delicious Minichic drinks, while they had the chance to first buy the Topshop collection products.

The Topshop collections are exclusively sold at the Sotris stores in Kolonaki and at Golden Hall having the same prices with those of the british Topshop.
