Swedish/Therapeutic Massage

Swedish massage combines various hands-on techniques including gliding, kneading, and cross-fiber friction to break up muscle knots, called adhesions.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints)

Tui Na

To those who've experienced both acupressure and Shiatsu, a Tui Na session may seem like a cross between the two. Like Shiatsu, Tui Na uses rhythmic compression along energy channels of the body, as well as a variety of techniques that manipulate and lubricate the joints. Like acupressure, Tui Na directly affects the flow of energy by holding and pressing the body at acupressure points.

Shiatsu

Like other forms of Asian bodywork, Shiatsu is based on the principles of Chinese medicine and is designed to restore the flow of energy in the body. It's known especially for its use of rhythmic pressure along energy channels. Practitioners lean their own body weight into the recipient's body to improve energy flow and the circulation of blood and lymph.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage ­– to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it's also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists who are trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly.

Myofacial release and trigger point therapy

Deep Hot Stone Therapy

Body Scrubs & Body Wraps

Benefits of body scrubs:
Body scrubs exfoliate your skin, removing dead skin cells and promoting growth of new ones. Our body scrubs include moisturizing ingredients which leave your skin smooth, healthy and glowing.

The process of scrubbing also stimulates circulation and movement of lymphs, helping to fight cellulite and improving skin tone.

A body scrub right before a massage is one of the best ways to relax and prepare your body for a massage.

Each body scrub session is for 30-45 minutes

Benefits of body wraps:
Body wraps draw toxins from the body and helps tone skin by removing excess fluid and toxins from the body. The treatment entails wrapping your torso, arms and legs using masks and other organic ingredients. A comfortable level of heat is applied and together with the compression provided by the wrap, this treatment promotes sweating and enables extra fluid trapped in the small spaces between tissues to be expelled. Body wraps activate the lymphatic system thereby promoting detoxification and boosting metabolism. Benefits of body wraps include skin firming, cellulite reduction and softer skin.

Body wraps are excellent to fight water retention, and are recommended as a weight management treatment
