General information

Au Pair Foundation provides a quality service to each of our program participant, including our Host Families, Au Pairs, Local Community Representatives and Overseas Partners. Our goal is to provide each with a quality cross-cultural experience that will enhance understanding and acceptance of other cultures and foster life-long friendships. In addition, we provide quality childcare to American families and educational opportunities to international young people.

Au Pair Foundation is United States Department of State designated sponsor for the Au Pair J1 Cultural Visa Program. We ensure proper placement of qualified au pairs with valued Host Families throughout the United States. We pride ourselves on being an organization that is dedicated to providing quality experiences for our Au Pairs and Host Families. Our structure permits us to provide professional, yet family style attention to each participant.

Through the Au Pair program, participants and host families take part in a mutually rewarding, intercultural opportunity. Participants can continue their education while experiencing everyday life with an American family, and hosts receive reliable and responsible childcare from individuals who become part of the family.
