I've been in high school for 25 (extra) years now!!

As a teacher and then as an administrator, I have worked and walked alongside students, parents, and teachers as we navigated the process of moving students from wide-eyed rookie freshmen into well-prepared high school graduates, headed off to college. At the same time, I was raising six pretty amazing young people at home, too.

Now, having guided hundreds of my school kids and four of my own kids (so far!) through the college admissions process, I am re-positioning myself to help students and parents in a different and much more individual way.

The university years are a critical time in a young person’s life. The opportunities presented during this time build the foundation upon which our students will truly grow into the adults they will be for years to come. This opportunity requires an investment, not only of time, but also of tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of dollars.

And yet, despite its importance, many students and families walk blindly into the process, not knowing how to find the school that is the right cultural/academic/financial fit for them, how to navigate the admissions process and deadlines, how to write the most personal and impactful essay, or how to deal with setbacks in the process.
