General information

Born in the kitchen, Medium Rare Chef Apparel was the brainchild of Andrew D. and Cam D. (no relation). These two guys were working hard day in and day out, creating culinary masterpieces, but yet somehow got relegated to wearing boring old uniforms.

The questions came up: why is there no gear out there that we want to wear? Something that has meaning? Something that gives back as much as we give out? And with that “the black sheep of the whites” was born. Medium Rare Chef Apparel was established 2006 and has been growing ever since.

As chefs and restaurant owners, we are no strangers to toiling through the grease, battling in the trenches and sweating through the weeds. We all do it because we love it, so why shouldn’t every chef love their gear?

We hold the opinion that there's zero need for chef wear that doesn't elevate the chef. Built for industry life in and out of the kitchen, Medium Rare Chef Apparel is comfortable, well constructed, cut for real humans and always brings the rock ‘n roll to service.
