The Rockmart Public Library moved to this refurbished 70's era school building in 2012.Dark natural slate from our local quarry is featured throughout the interior - fitting for a town once known as "The Rock Market of the Southeast". Beautiful hammered bronze finished shelving displays the library's collection at optimal height for all patrons and librarians! A bank of windows filters in the natural light and views of the southern pines. Carved into the fireplace mantel " bonus intra melior exi" - Enter good, leave better. But who wants to leave?
