Middle Tennessee Acupuncture is owned and operated by Kara C. Timm, DC. Dr. Timm holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts, a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, and has completed 300 hours of coursework with the Eastern Medicine Institute to become a Chiropractic Acupuncturist. Traditional Chinese Medicine, specifically acupuncture, has been in use for at least 3,000 years and is proven to help with a wide variety of health issues including, but certainly not limited to: stress relief, anxiety, depression, digestive problems, headaches, fibromyalgia, both male and female issues, respiratory problems, both acute and chronic pain, dizziness, vertigo, skin problems, hypertension, and many, many more. Acupuncture can also help with weight loss when used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise, and can also help with smoking cessation.
