Drainage - Pipe - Precast piping is the most common type of concrete piping because of its incredible versatility. Pipes are hollow tubes that are typically installed below ground using the excavation and backfill method. It is available in round, elliptical, perforated,and elbow shapes. Specialty piping such as jacking pipe, gasketed pipe, sanitary pipe, and pipe tees are also available. Piping can be used in virtually any project where storm water, waste water, drainage, telecommunications cabling, or electrical cabling is contained or managed. Reinforced precast concrete piping is used primarily by municipalities, telecommunications companies, and utilities, but is useful in a wide variety of projects. Using precast piping is a convenient way to speed up any construction project. Oldcastle Precast manufactures large reinforced concrete piping in a variety of different styles for water management use. Designed primarily for use with storm drains, culverts, and storm sewers, our piping meets ASTM C-76, ASTM C-443, AASHTO M170, and APWA specifications. Standard pipe sizes are available in class III through class V, and custom sized piping and sanitary liners are also available. Precast concrete piping is extremely durable and has a lifespan in excess of 100 years.
