Templeton-Vest was founded in 1970 by Danny Templeton and Lawrence "Buddy" Vest as a life-safety contractor focused primarily on fire alarm systems.

Since those humble beginnings over forty years ago, through solid leadership and an insatiable desire to satisfy its customers, Templeton-Vest has grown into one of Virginia's premier integrators of fire, security and communication technologies.

In 2010, Tom Leonard and Richard Newcomb acquired the company and brought their extensive knowledge and experience in communications and electrical systems to an already solid foundation. Since their acquisition, Templeton-Vest has grown not only in market-share and revenue, but also in installation and service quality and an even greater commitment to customer satisfaction.

Today, with offices in Roanoke and Richmond, you will find our teams working throughout Virginia to keep our schools, colleges, hospitals and commercial facilities safe and connected.
