General information

Carrier Centers began as a small International truck franchise in Brantford, Ontario in 1960. President and Dealer Principal Marvin Long quickly recognized the opportunity for expansion, and began offering truck rentals and leasing opportunities, turning the sales company into a full service lease and rental company by 1975.

Further developing its customer base, Carrier Centers became an affiliate member of the North American Idealease Organization in 1983. This membership provided employees with access to additional training, purchasing, and reciprocal service involving lease and rental equipment. This step paved the way for future expansion, including current locations in Woodstock, London, Windsor, Sarnia, and Chatham.

Today, under the leadership of Dealer Principal Robert R. Long, Carrier Centers offer sales, leasing, parts and service of all medium, heavy and severe service International trucks, while also providing parts, sales, and service of:

· Metalfab emergency vehicles
· Doepker trailers
· Bobcat equipment
· Mahindra Tractors and Utility Vehicles
· Echo, Bear Cat and Shindaiwa power equipment
· Carrier refrigeration, air conditioning, and APUs

Our body shop technicians provide collision and refurbishing service, as well as custom graphics and painting, while the Carrier Centers’ finance team helps businesses get the equipment they need. Fleet Assist supports fleets by providing recall and safety updates, scheduling regular preventative maintenance, ensuring government compliance, and providing extensive reporting. When the unexpected occurs, Fleet Assist gets your truck back on the road, by sourcing sub trucks, tow trucks or roadside assistance through our 24/7 breakdown service.
