General information

Lake George Computer, is a division of Reliable Systems Applications Inc. , A NYS Subchapter S Corp. formed in 1983 and has operated successful computer repair and consulting businesses located in Lynbrook, Yonkers, Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley and now serving the greater Lake George area.

Owner and principle, John Wolsky, has over 35 years in the computer repair and maintenance field. John has a background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. His early experience includes maintenance and repair of electronic injection molding machines (Precision Valve Corp. Yonkers, NY). In 1979 John began extensive training on large main frame and mini computers (Western Union International, NYC, Fort Lee NJ, Naperville, IL) rose to a management position in their technical support group and designed and installed a computer lab/simulation site in MCI International (Rye Brook, NY) that supported one of the first E-mail (MCI Mail) systems.

In the early 80's, John and his partner Walter Rimkunas a member of John's technical support group in MCI, worked with some of the first IBM PC's delivered for commercial use. Recognizing that PC's were the way of the future, they formed Reliable System Applications Inc. and began computerizing businesses ranging from Import/Export companies in and around JFK airport, gasoline/convenience service stations, local police departments and eventually, selling and maintaining home and small business computer systems. John bought out his partner and RSA Computer began operating from the storefront of Television Service Center of Dobbs Ferry, NY . Business grew and John relocated to his own computer repair store located at 609 Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley, NY. With an increasing number of staff, RSA Computer relocated to a larger facility just up the road at 630 Saw Mill River Rd.

In 2006, RSA Computer was honored by the prestigious Westchester Magazine with the award for Editors Choice "Best Computer Repair Store" and featured them in their July issue and again in 2010 in "The Best of the Best-Where to get stuff fixed". Consumer Reports featured RSA Computer in a video on computer viruses and repair.

In 2013, with personal computing evolving, John announced "RSA Computer's very capable manager Oscar Lopez, has formed RSA Computer LLC. and will take Westchester's oldest and most experienced computer repair business to the next level." With extensive knowledge in custom computer systems, tablet/pad integration, gaming and video servers Oscar and his staff support the needs of the metropolitan computer user base.

John has been supporting upstate customers for many years and having relocated to his Lake George home now operates Lake George Computer.
