Hello and welcome!

Life Revived has been a dream of mine for years that is finally coming to fruition! There are a few pieces to this business, some that *YOU* can be involved in if you wish!

1. At Life Revived I offer counseling services for both adult and child clients struggling with a variety of disorders. At this time, I do not treat individuals with psychotic disorders or personality disorders. Due to current WA state laws, I also cannot offer substance treatment services. That being said, I have experience working with substance use and *can* work with those who have co-occurring disorders. 2. At Life Revived I will have an active Facebook page going that you are welcome to be a part of! The purpose of this Facebook page is to bring some positivity, encouragement, and good news to each other!
* Every week I will host a THANKFUL THURSDAY where I will post something I am thankful for and will invite all of you to comment something you are thankful for, or perhaps something awesome that happened in the recent past of your life. Research continues to show time and time again that *GRATITUDE* is one of the greatest ways to heal from a mental health disorder, from discouragement, or from a just plain bad mood. So, I look forward to seeing all of the things we each are thankful for in this beautiful world of ours! (Note: If your post involves someone else (i.e.: My sister is going to treatment to get help for her drinking!), please use the following phrase to reference the other person "Someone I care very much about has..." Confidentiality is of the utmost importance, and I will not allow other peoples' laundry to be aired, even in the name of thankfulness. So, if a name is listed or a pronoun that could indicate the other person, I will probably delete your comment. You've been warned... ;) )
* Every month there will be a GIVE-AWAY!! In order to encourage our city and support local business, I will choose a local business and have a $20 gift certificate for this business that will be given away. Here's the twist, though: this give-away is NOT for YOU, it is for WHOEVER YOU NOMINATE!! It is always fun to receive, but it is always more fun to SURPRISE SOMEONE WITH A GIFT! Each month you will be welcome to private-message me someone's name and phone number, unbeknownst to them, and at the end of the weekend, I will draw one of these names. I will call this person and, if they permit, post a video of them receiving their *surprise* boost of encouragement. Fun times, huh!?
* This Facebook page will also be used to share mental health tips, words of encouragement, super-cool quotes, etcetera. Feel free to post your own words of encouragement if you so desire! This page is a forum to encourage each other! Life is hard sometimes. Sometimes it's just drab. Let's use this opportunity to help each other remember there is *more to life* than the hum-drum difficulties we all face!

3. At Life Revived, I hope to have a blog where I will be posting lengthier articles regarding mental health and relational awareness. Each time I write a blog post I will post a link on this Facebook page.
