L'ORO Jewellery is based on a long-standing family tradition focused on excellence. L'ORO's founder Vahram Derian fostered this convention when he first began in the jewellery business over half a century ago. Derian was determined to transform his vast knowledge and experience into a company whose name is synonymous with quality, honesty and elegance. The result was the establishment of his first retail store in 1984, and thus L'ORO Jewellery was born.

Over the years, Derian has been committed to his uncompromising principles, developing L'ORO into a retailer renowned for its eminence, integrity and class throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Carrying a wide range of collections, such as Chopard, Omega and Tag Heuer, Derian stocked his pristine glass cases with timeless pieces from exclusive brands. His unrivalled customer service developed a regular clientele that marvelled not only at his assortment of name-brand designs, but of his impeccable ability to create custom pieces of the highest quality.

Demonstrating an enthusiastic interest for jewellery and keen eye for detail from an early age, Haigo Derian decided to follow in his father's footsteps. He began receiving formal training throughout his youth to hone his talent and perfect his craft. Studying all aspects of the business, Haigo learned not only how to handle jewellery, but to professionally and proficiently address customers' needs.
