We opened our first studio in Houston’s Astroworld and over the years have had studios in 15 theme parks nationwide. Ashley Nostalgia began producing our own costumes back when we were getting the company started and could not find the quality we needed. We felt then, as we do now, that having beautiful, excellent quality costumes is essential and central to the entire Old Time Photo experience. Our costume company, which began because we needed costumes for our own studios, has grown to be the Premier Old Time Photo costume company, shipping quality costumes all over the world. Ashley Nostalgia has supplied period costumes to Old Time Photographers from Hong Kong to Israel, from Spain to England, from South Africa to Australia.

We now offer everything from the popular Old West Cowboy and Saloon girl to Civil War Officers & Southern Belles, Victorian Families, Gangsters & Flappers, Pirates & Wenches, Kings & Queens/Knights & Fair Maidens, Steampunk, Fairies, Native American Indians to Frontier or Hillbilly families. Our costumes are designed and produced using the finest quality fabrics and trims by talented specialty seamstresses right here is the USA. Each year we add new costumes to our studios so returning guests will have something different to choose from. Our studios are all stocked with costumes to fit everyone, from the smallest infant up to largest of large adults.

Ashley Nostalgia individually designs and custom builds our 3 dimensional sets to suit each of our studios. No two are alike! They are elaborately designed and accessorized by our designers to give an authentic feel to each portrait. Our studios offer sets that include; Real Gangster Cars in alley ways, Oak Western Saloon Bars, Fancy Victorian living-rooms, Swashbuckling Pirate Ships, Hillbilly Cabin Front Porches with Critters and Bears, Royal Throne Rooms, and Civil War Battle scenes just to name a few. Each of our studios have sets that are themed to the area that they service and when you visit you will find that all the sets are different from first to the last!

Ashley Nostalgia offers themed frames, mats and custom posters in all our studios. We specifically designed and print our posters to enhance your Old Time Photo. Our Gangster Poster looks like an old 1920’s newspaper front page, our Western Poster looks like a “Wanted” poster that hung on the post office wall, our Pirate Poster looks like an old treasure map, and our Marriage Certificate Posters remembers the day and your “special photo.” Our wood frames are also custom designed and themed with barbwire and branding, bullet casings and bullet holes, & brass corners for the pirate/civil war frame. Our trained staff will provide free custom framing with the purchase of one of our frames and will have it ready for you to display when you take home your Old Time Photo.
