Wellspring Education Center & Organic Farm

General information

Our organization is committed to “growing” the next generation of organic farmers, gardeners, and local food community. Our programs are designed to produce and distribute high quality, organic local food while sharing skills in local food production and wellness through our family-friendly events and classes. Since 1982, Wellspring has worked to strengthen food sovereignty, resilience, and diversity in the WI local food system.

Many educational opportunities are available at Wellspring throughout the year including farm tours, workshops and learning opportunities for individuals, families, school and community groups. Classes and programs include home gardening, cooking with seasonal produce, food preservation, seed saving, tree grafting, foraging for wild edibles and summer camps for youth and teens.

Additionally, Wellspring is an Agritourism destination with a bed and breakfast, international hostel and retreat and conference center on site that hosts local groups to international travellers. Guests can explore our 36 acres of trails, meadows, prairies, ponds & gardens in a tranquil country setting.
