INFRASTRUCTURE

SED has three hi-tech industrial manufacturing units (Unit I, Unit II and Unit III) all located in Baddi (HP), a tax free zone in Himachal Pradesh. SED’s manufacturing units are equipped with the modern world class machinery and complete set of testing equipments.
With more than 25,000 sq yard area reserved exclusively for production facility and equipped with world class CNC machines allows SED to provide flexible and cost effective and quality services to its customers.
SED upgrades all its divisions with latest technological evaluations available in the market. Implementation of ERP has further resulted in optimising the business operations, thus enhancing services & cutting short the delivery time.
Our Engineers & Technicians work relentlessly for cutting an edge over technologies and advanced technical skills and know how available worldwide, to produce through one of the best equipment to bring in to advanced technical innovations in practice. Our team understand the global needs to bring about efficiency and energy conservation in mind to deliver state of art requirements. The SED Team includes Experienced & Dedicated personnel of more than 300 Engineers from Sugar and allied industries. EPC Solutions

Equipment Design & Engineering
With advanced technology, precision tools, and complex mechanical design expertise, our team of engineers provide a complete range of mechanical design services to test, analyze, improve and simplify the most complicated process machinery & equipments. Our Equipment Design & Engineering section forms the core of our detailed engineering involving a range of activities in the product development from concept to detailed design to production drawings like:
a. Product market research and marketing analysis.
b. Product design and detailed engineering.
c. Understanding customer needs, and translating those needs into winning product concepts that have realistic technical specifications.

The engineering tools currently being used by our mechanical design group include softwares / systems for:
• Complete layout design & detailed drawings of equipments along with BOM;
• Detailed modeling & design of equipments & Piping layout of equipments / process sections of plants;
• Analysis of flow of fluids through components for design optimization;
• Mechanical Analysis / Structural Design of components & optimization of components by analyzing Strain Energy Distribution, Stress & Deflection;
• Generate load & velocity curves for checking shock loading of rotary components;
• Design of supporting structure of equipments as per Structure Codes like IS-800;

SED production division is equipped with most sophisticated & modernized equipment fabricating machines procured from world class manufacturers of France&Sweden, facilitating the fabrication capability of more than 50 Tones/day for manufacturing the equipments of process industry (raw sugar plants, white sugar plants, refineries, distilleries, food industry, energy and power, pharmaceuticals).
