With more than 800 employees, LESER is the largest manufacturer of safety valves in Europe and a leader in its market worldwide. LESER safety valves are developed and tested for the international market in our certified test lab at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. Valve production, with a capacity of over 130,000 valves per year, takes place at our modern factory in Hohenwestedt, Germany. Today, LESER is with its nine subsidiaries and numerous sales partners, represented in more than 80 countries.

Nine subsidiaries in Europe, America, the Middle East, and Asia as well as trained contact partners in over 80 countries ensure competent customer consulting services for all industrial applications. LESER has warehouses all over the world and can deliver valves within a few days. LESER’s authorized service partners (LARCs) offer expert service and repair using original LESER spare parts.

LESER safety valves protect people and the environment in the chemical, petrochemical, technical gases, oil and gas production, and engineering branches as well as in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Additionally, LESER India in India produces safety valves for the local market.

LESER History

1818 is founded as a braziery in Hamburg-Neustadt by Georg Wittmann. Fifteen years later LESER purchases its first property with a workshop in Hamburg. 1884 LESER offers a complete product line of steam fitttings - including safety valves.

Since 1944 LESER established several subsidiaries in Europe (e.g. Poland, France), America, the Middle East and Asia. Today, LESER is with its nine subsidiaries and numerous sales partners, represented in more than 80 countries.

1970 LESER realigns its production and specializes in safety valves from here on. 1980 LESER becomes the market leader for safety valves in Germany and Europe.
