As one of the industry’s leading manufacturers, Zitzmann has been
producing high quality mould equipment for the glass industry since 1935.
Company is owned and managed in the third generation by Matthias Zitzmann.
In our German factories 120 highly skilled technicians produce more than 30,000 moulds per year using more than 1000 tonnes of grey cast iron and bronze.

Thanks to our regular and ongoing investment in the most efficient and accurate production technology we are able to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations for premium quality moulds in short and reliable lead times.
We continually invest in the latest technologies and production methods. Such as:
- CAD/CAM design using Catia V5
- The latest CNC machines in the turning and milling sector
- Full profile welded moulds
- Induction heat treatment and additional plasma welding

Zitzmann’s investment in the most accurate high speed milling and engraving equipment enable us to manufacture moulds for the most complex container designs such as:

- Block moulds, solid blank moulds
To ensure our mould equipment performs to the highest standard throughout it’s working life only materials from carefully selected suppliers are used.

In addition to the bronze, cast iron and steel, special materials such as Dameron and Colmonoy are regularly included in our equipment.

Close co-operation with glass and welding institutions as well as technical universities enables us to incorporate the most up to date techniques in the ongoing development of our process.
