Warum Il Tinello? - Es ist eine alte Tradition, von unserer Kindheit bis in die heutige Zeit hinein, dass nicht alle Familien in Apulien so große Küchen besaßen, um dort die köstlichen Speisen ihrer Mütter zu genießen. Die Leute, die aus einer armen Familie kamen, freuten sich über die wenigen Dinge, die man hatte. Deshalb gab es das „Il Tinello“, ein Esszimmer neben der Küche, in welchem alle Mitglieder der Familie beim Frühstuck, beim Mittagessen und beim Abendessen zusammen saßen.
