Yvonne Hamm erhielt ihre Ausbildung zur staatlich geprüften Lehrerin in Tanz von der Lola-Rogge Schule in Hamburg. Sie ist staatlich geprüfte Motopädin und zertifizierte Gyrotonic® Trainerin. In New York City studierte sie Modern Dance an der Martha Graham Schule und klassisches Ballett am Peridance Center. Sie absolvierte einen Master of Arts in Dance an der American University in Washington DC. In Washington DC entwickelte sie 1996 das kreative Programm Dance Discovery und leitete Kurse für Kinder ab 2 Jahren. Dieses beliebte Tanzprogramm für Kinder wird jetzt zum ersten Mal auch in Bonn angeboten.
