They are made to a high standard and are based on the idea of an old Shepherd's Hut. These were used for many centuries to provide accommodation for the shepherd during lambing season. Nowadays they are being made to be used for an additional bedroom, guest room, office, studio or a garden room. The interior and design of Nightingale Huts are bespoke pieces of work. Carsten takes the time to source reclaimed materials that he renovates for all the huts. The huts have included one hundred year old oak framed leaded windows, stained glass windows, old stable doors, latches and fittings. Electrics, wood burner, fold up table, cupboards, shelves, balcony's or beds can also be fitted. These huts do not require planning consent and are fully mobile.
