TENTS FOR HIRE:

YURTS – A nomadic tent most commonly used in Mongolia, which has more recently achieved wider popularity due to its ability to create a spacious yet cosy atmosphere. This elegant wooden frame housed in a tightly fitted canvas can be adapted to suit any occasion.

Two available. These identical Yurts can be joined together to create one beautiful space.
With locking doors.

Uses-Workshop space, welfare tent, bar, cafe, wedding ceremony.

BIG TOPS – Stylish tents modelled on the classic big top design but with our own unique twist. Their high ceilings offer the opportunity to host events in a spacious environment, be it a wedding or festival venue. They have the flexibility to be enclosed with the walls on, or open to reveal views from within the tents to whatever setting is outside.

Available in 3 different sizes, with varying patterns and colour.

Uses- bar, stage, wedding tent, dance venue, banqueting tent

BELL TENTS – A stylish round tent providing the perfect alternative for when a big top is just too big!
Also available in 3 sizes.

BERBER – A gracious tent with its roots in the nomadic tribes of North Africa. We have adapted the design of a traditional Berber tent to create an extremely characterful and versatile structure.

Uses-bar,venue,banqueting tent, small stage.

ABOUT US:

Roaming Tent Company is a small business and partnership based in rural Northumberland. We specialise in the fabrication, rental and sale of canvas tents and marquees. When designing and creating our tents we take our inspiration from nature, creating structures that sit seamlessly in any environment.

All of our tents and marquees are made with the highest degree of craftsmanship using only the finest materials, and utilising a combination of wood and canvas to create a beautiful natural finish. We work closely with a professional architect to refine our designs. We stitch our own tents and can guarantee our work to be of the highest quality.

Our tent patterns are cad drawn by architect Kieran McSherry. We would also like to thank Oran Villiers Stuart, Alex Thorpe and Si Jamerson for the inspiration and guidance along the way.

PRODUCTS:

Here at Roaming Tent Company we have the capacity to fabricate canvas products made to order. We can design and make products to fulfill any purpose. Some examples of what we can create for you:

Large tents & marquees - we can offer guidance and design for any larger structure. these however would need need to be commissioned well in advance.

Small tents & structures - we are able to make smaller structures quickly and could realistically (depending on stock colours) have these ready in matter of weeks.

Tarps - We can also provide a range of canvas tarps and awnings in a range of sizes. These are extremely versatile and can be used as stage canopies, camping shelters, and much more. They’re made from the highest quality Regentex canvas, fully reinforced and featuring webbing loops at each corner.

Campervan Awnings – These are made in a similar way to canvas awnings, but include a keder rail sewn into one side to create a watertight seal to your vehicle.

BOOKING AND DELIVERY:

At roaming tent company we try to be as environmentally friendly as possible, we run All of our vehicles on biodiesel.

Although we are based in the north east we spend the summer roaming the country setting up our tents. Chances are we will be closer than you think, give us a call and discuss a delivery charge.

Upon confirmation we ask for a deposit of 50% of the total booking cost.
