Central Scotland's Canine Massage Clinic offers Clinical Canine Massage. This is a vet-approved complementary therapy that uses Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage together with Myofascial Release and Advanced Canine Anatomy to produce a drug-free and holistic treatment designed to ease the pain of a muscular or soft tissue injury, promote rehabilitation, improve flexibility and mobiltiy, while benefitting the overall health and well-being of your dog. Clinical Canine Massage is suitable for all types of dogs: sports, service and pets, it is especially beneficial for old dogs.

Canine Massage Therapy also supports dogs with orthopaedic issues, like Hip Dysplasia, Luxating Patella and Arthritis, by improving the health and flexibility of muscles and tendons that have to work harder due to a joint weakness.

Dogs hide their pain, they don't want to be seen as the week member of the pack, so keep an eye out for the subtle signs which can manifest as:
• Limping, unable to fully weight bear on one or more legs
• Having difficulty jumping on / off the sofa or into the car
• Character changes, grumpy with people or dogs
• Appearing to age overnight
• Problems getting up or lying down
