Technological properties AT6-50 series biological wastewater treatment plants are suitable for biological wastewater – both organic and bio-organic (nitrogen and phosphorus) – treatment from household and industrial wastewater. Bioreactor consists of anaerobic - anoxic and aeration zone and secondary sedimentation tank. All the zones are installed in a horizontal cylindrical shape container and are separated from each other by partitions. The excess of sludge is removed with the help of the airblower into the sludge stabilizer which is installed in a separate container. The treatment plant set includes the airblower which is installed next to the plant. The shape, configuration, the arrangement of the cleaning stages, installed software of the bioreactors are exactly the same in all AT5-50 models. By increasing the efficiency of the bioreactor, the respective design parameters are being increased proportionally as well. The advantage of biological sewage treatment plants AT5-50 – high treatment efficiency in organic materials and nitrogen as well as phosphorus, even though for this kind of productivity plants elimination of nitrogen and phosphorus in accordance with the norms is not mandatory. This plants operates quietly and does not emit an unpleasant odor. There are no perishable parts and filters that should be changed. It does not use chemicals, consumes particularly low level of power. Device installation and transportation is very simple: it can be installed and started within one working day.

This wastewater treatment plant is the only one from the ones produced by Baltic countries which passed the tests and was notified in the independent equipment testing laboratory PIA in Germany (Prufinstitut fur AbvassertechnikGmbH, Aachen, www.pia-gmbh.com). Positive test results have exceeded all expectations and surprised specialists of the laboratory. The plant has been tested for nine months and the results forced German and European wastewater treatment standards developers to think on existing standards, because, according to the survey, there is a possibility of a significant reduction in plant volume and cost. The running of the plant is based on a new patented VFL (vertical flow labyrinth) technology (patent no. 5386), acting on the activated sludge principle.

The device complies with the EU Directive. 89/106 / EEC and the EU standard 12 566-3-2006, has a right to mark the plant with CE mark. The device is made in Lithuania and is exported to more than 30 countries worldwide. In particular, it is saleable in the Scandinavian countries, where the equipment and the treated wastewater are subject to strict requirements.
