Caledonia Play have been designing and manufacturing outdoor play equipment for over ten years supplying products for garden, educational establishments and commercial organisations.

Based in central Scotland we cover the whole of the UK, either directly or through local distributors. Our fully trained sales team are supported by demonstration sites and an optional full design and build service.

Domestic Play Equipment
Our range of domestic products allows families to make best use of their outdoor space encouraging children and adults outside whatever the weather.
We design and manufacture a large range of products from sand pits to tree houses. Made of timber, our products are robust and strong enough to take the weight of an average adult. Our timber products look good any garden.

We also supply all levels in the education sector to support active learning. We work closely with advisors and practitioners in outdoor learning, early year’s education and play.The resulting products support implementation of the curriculum at all stages including active learning, imaginative play and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Caledonia Play recognises that children sometimes just want to have fun and often learn most from periods of free exploration and experimentation. As a result, the company balances the need for freedom of movement and experience with carefully considered layouts and product design. By ensuring that their products sit comfortably in the environment children are then able to engage in their surroundings in a holistic and natural way.

Commercial Play Equipment
We work closely with councils and commercial organisations such as campsites, hotels and farm parks to provide equipment for play areas that will make the organisation more appealing to families with children and young adults of all ages.
All our play equipment is made using slow grown, treated timbers from sustainable managed sources which carry either FSC or PEFC chain of custody certification and the highest quality of fixtures and fittings. As a member of RoSPA we take safety seriously and all our products comply with British and European Safety Standards.
