General information

Here is where you will find all the info you need about Corby auctions.

Our auctions are held Wednesdays at 6pm .You can view on the day of the auction from 9am.

We do have a media room,here is where you can buy Vinyl records,cd's,dvds,games out of the auction

Auction T's & C's

1.We are currently a cash only auction
2.Its 15% buyers premium on top of the hammer price
3.Children are welcome at the auction but must be accompanied by an adult at ALL times - no running around or playing with items that are in the auction room.
4.During the auction we like to keep the noise to a minimum. Excessive noise makers will be asked to leave the room during the auction.
5.Bids will only be taken by the auctioneer via a valid bidding number
6.All goods ( except mains electrical items ) are sold as seen. It is the buyers responsibility to check all items before bidding on them. There will be no refunds and no exceptions.
7.When the hammer goes down you are bound to purchase with no exception. Please make sure its the item you wanted
8.All mains electrical items are sold as working unless stated, They are guaranteed until the Monday at 5pm following the sale
9.Some mains electrical items will be ' Sold as spares only'. These items will have a sticker on stating this and the auctioneer will state this too
10.No commission bids will be excepted once the auction has started.
11.You will not be allowed to take any of your goods from the auction room without paying for it first. You will be asked on the door for your receipt by a member of staff
12.All goods won the in auction MUST be paid for & collected by 4pm the next working day. Items not collected even if they have been paid for will automatically go into the next auction with NO refund unless pending a delivery or prior arrangement with a member of staff - NO exceptions

Entering items into our auction

FEE'S PAYABLE
1.All items must be booked in. We only accept goods in on a Monday
2.We charge 20% commission on the sale price
3.Max auctions your item can be entered into is 4.If your item does not sell after the 4 auctions it needs to be removed within 5 days of the 4th auction ending

COLLECTIONS FEE'S
1.If collection is required, the fee will be deducted from the final selling fee

ELECTRICAL ITEMS
1.We only take electrical items from the general public that are in FULL working order, with no parts missing. Fridges, freezers, microwaves, washing machines and cookers MUST be clean
2.All items must meet current standards legislation

RESERVES
1.Reserves are set by you the customer. These will be set for 3 auctions. If the item does not sell within the 3 auctions we will remove the reserve for the final auction or you can remove your items from the auction

PAYOUTS
1.Payments will be made on the Tuesday following the auction once all items are sold
2.There are no part payments. Payment will be made after the 4th auction has taken place. If some of your items have not sold, all unsold items must be removed from the auction before any payments will be made
3.All payments must be collected within 12 weeks of the last auction. After this date all outstanding monies will be donated to a charity of our choice

DISPOSAL FEE'S
1.All charges in relation to disposal of items left on our premises after 28 days from entry date will be met by the customer.
