General information

A.J. Wright Electrical Ltd. has been trading in Liverpool for over 100 years, established in 1902 in Great Crosshall Street, Liverpool by Mr Albert Wright and his wife. Both were passionate Liverpudlians who sought to start a successful business distributing wholesale industrial electrical products to the local area. With Albert's passionate determination to succeed, he took the business into the swinging '60's modernising the distribution of electronic components.

Unfortunately ill health plagued Albert later in life and he was forced to retire from the business. R&H Electrical bought the Company and continued with the name, as it was and still is well known throughout Liverpool.

In 2008 management of R&H Electric bought AJ Wright Electrical from it's parent company and began trading as a sole company all over again. In 2011 we moved into a prime purpose built facility, with a 12'000ft stock warehouse with trade counter and despatch functions to better serve our customers.

Nowadays we enjoy a reputation that has been built on a solid foundation of unrivalled levels of customer service and support. Our customer base consists of blue-chip global companies, industrial corporations, private contractors and the general public.

We also specialise in the supply of bespoke specialist items.
