STS Solutions, the UK’s leading food hygiene consultant, was established in 1986 by Neil Rush, a highly regarded Environmental Health Officer with over twenty years local government experience. Neil set up STS Solutions as a food hygiene consultancy when the kitchens of two flagship hospitals in London were closed by their Environmental Health Officers when hospitals lost their Crown Immunity status. Neil assisted the hospitals to improve the food safety standards in their kitchens and his expert food safety services enabled them to reopen.

Since then, our food hygiene consultants have provided food safety services to some of the UK’s leading names, including the British Army, Nandos, Nuffield Health and NHS Choice, providing them with food safety services they can trust from our friendly, dedicated food hygiene consultancy team.

Over the last thirty years, our food hygiene consultancy has grown and evolved from our humble origins in Surrey to become the UK’s leading – and preferred – provider of food safety services, with a reputation for quality. We have established a well-earned, excellent reputation in all aspects of food safety, and health and safety services for food businesses – supplier assessment, documentation, audits, training and support for our clients. Every food hygiene consultant has strong links within the food safety industry, working as development partners for e-learning with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health; industry partners for ABTA and we are the preferred suppliers of the British Hospitality Association.

At STS Solutions we are proud to hold UKAS accreditation and be a BRC Certification Body. Our food hygiene consultancy is also certified to ISO 9001 standard.
