General information

James von Eiberg, our Co-Founder was born on a sailing yacth in St. John's, Antigua in 1963, lived on a boat sailing around the world till he was 18. At 24 in 1987 moved to Palma de Mallorca from Cannes as the yachting industry was booming here, managing back then with his father Motor Yachts like the Arkan, a 36 mt Feadship.
After Some years away from the industry in 2014 with the rise of the sharing economy, along with his son Marc von Eiberg who had gained IT experience launching Software platforms in Sweden and the US, they decided to launch a new concept, a concept that would enable boat owners and sea-lovers to share their experiences eliminating all the pain points of traditional P2P boat rentals. In 2016 once the concept had been tested, they both decided to move back to Mallorca to launch it, Bluebnc was born.
