These solutions include products such as Miniature Circuit Breakers, Moulded Case Circuit Breakers, Wiring Accessories and Specialised Application Circuit Breakers (Circuit Breakers for Equipment). Control Equipment includes Contactors, Overload Relays and Manual Motor Starters.

CBI-electric: low voltage previously known as Circuit Breaker Industries or CBI, is located in Johannesburg, South Africa. We supply world class low voltage electrical distribution, protection and control equipment.

With an exciting background of groundbreaking achievements, CBI-electric: low voltage has prospered for more than five decades to become a leader in the design, development and manufacture of circuit breakers.

CBI supplies products to sectors such as Residential Utilities, Commercial developers, Industrial and mining and general power distribution applications.

Over the past 10 years, based on our successes the majority of our production output is exported and they hold safety approvals from Europe, Germany Russia, Ukraine, China, Japan and the United States of America. Export markets are served by subsidiaries in Europe, Australia and the USA.
