Outreach Services

One-to-One Direct Service: This service consists of an aba therapist teaching intensively (DTT) and Natural Environment Training (NET), in homes ,schools, and the community.
Parent Training: This consists of teaching the parent by using observation of therapist then parent is guided through playing/teaching with the child directly.
Assessments: VB-MAPP, ABLLS
Center Based Services

One-to-one direct service: this is the same service as our outreach service except services will be provided directly at our facility.

The custom built facility consists of three large classrooms, four bathrooms, a gross motor gym, office/conference room, a full kitchen, and two playgrounds. The center is divided into two parts: Behavioral Connections ABA center, and A Learning Hub childcare center that provides full and part-time preschool and kindergarten to all children.

Services times: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-5PM, Saturday 9AM-1PM

Social Skills Groups

Designed for all age learners, each session will have an overall social skills concept being worked on in addition each child will also have specific to the child targets that they will be working on. PM and Saturday sessions. (AM sessions available during vacation)

Social Play Groups

Designed for younger learners who need work on building the basic elementary social skills. Each child will be working on very specific social goals. Each session will have a basic concept being worked on. Ages 18 months - 5 years. AM and PM sessions

Assessments

VB-MAPP: "The Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program: The VB-MAPP is a criteria-referenced assessment tool, curriculum guide, and skill tracking system that is designed for children with autism, and other individuals who demonstrate language delays. The VB-MAPP is based on B.F. Skinner's (1957) analysis of verbal behavior, established developmental milestones, and research from the field of behavior analysis." (marksundberg.com)

ABLLS: The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills by Dr. Sundberg and Dr. Partington. The assessment is based on B.F. Skinner's analysis of Language... Verbal Behavior (1958) Verbal Behavior states that language can be treated as a behavior like any other. Therefor, this behavior can be broken down into smaller and smaller components, which can be used to track deficits and strengths in a child's language or social abilities.

Family | Parent Training

Whether outreach or center based, Parent Training consists of Talking, Showing, Doing and Feedback:

Talking to parent about what to do and why
Showing the parent how to complete the task
Parent doing the task after the therapist model's it
Therapist provides parent with feedback
New Foods Therapy

For picky eaters or you just want to learn how to get your child to eat a variety of foods. Are meal times dreadful? This is the therapy for you. Parents will also be taught during the treatment how to carry over after sessions.

Integration Therapy

This Service is designed to strategically teach children how to transition into typical preschool and kindergarten classrooms. Integration will be based on the child's abilities. Each child will be assessed to determine the amount of time and support needed for a successful integration.

Meal Prep

A Service designed for older learners to acquire the skills necessary to independently prepare, cook, and clean-up meals. The ABA center has a full kitchen with a microwave, oven, sink, and dishwasher.
