Acacia Couture is located in the heart of beautiful Aurora. With over 35 years of experience, we handle all types of alteration and seamstress services. Whether you are a retailer in search of a partnership, or a customer with long due wishes, we care about your needs and we want to help you and your fit to be seen look.

Custom clothier, dressmaker and tailor, Mariana Duduca started her career at the age of 10 by crafting herself a wool purse from scratch. From cutting the living room curtains, to her dad's shirts, Mariana was also making herself wedding dresses. From such an early age she loved clothes and the ability of make different styles by transforming ready pieces. "I knew I wanted to be a seamstress because I was fascinated by fabrics and fashion shows. I even chose to attend a special textiles school. I love the feeling of materials and the potential every piece has in my hands. Sewing is an art for me and I love anything complex that requires a lot of hours and work to be put into it. In fact, I spent the earlier 10 years of my career working with leather and fur - I know the processing aspect inside and out. You couldn't go more complex than that."

Through schooling and working with various designers in Quebec and Ontario, as well as working on costumes for movies and publications, Mariana excels in her tailoring techniques and attention to detail and customer needs. She opened her independent business in 2007 with the sole purpose to provide personal connection and make her customers happy. She refuses to take money before the service is complete and often says: "Individuality is the key to dressing well." She has a lot of ideas and amazing suggestions. Through the years, she has built a database of return customers who are satisfied and continue to choose her services because she gives them feedback and information others would not. Mariana says it's important to know yourself well. Not only your advantages, like your curves and your classiness, but also, more importantly, your disadvantages, so you can better your wardrobe from there. "I was born wanting it - it has been the dream of a lifetime to own by own business. My job is simply to make my clients look beautiful in their fashion clothes. And I love every day of it."
